Oven Baked Pulled Pork Sliders with Beer Cheese Sauce

Create a tailgate favorite that starts with pretzel bun sliders, topped with savory beer cheese sauce and tender pulled pork. Curly’s West Coast Style offers trending pulled pork flavor with delicious non-alcoholic BBQ sauce that is fitting for all ages.

For sliders

2 packages Curly's West Coast Style

6 Slider pretzel buns

1 1/2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup unsalted butter

3 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Onion powder

Sesame seeds, for garnish

For the beer cheese sauce

3 tbsp unsalted Butter

3 tbsp all-purpose Flour

1 cup Whole milk

1/2 cup mild ale Beer

1 cup Shredded mild cheddar cheese

1/2 tsp Kosher salt

1/2 tsp Ground pepper


For the beer cheese sauce

1In a medium saucepan preheated to medium heat, melt the butter.

2Add the flour and begin to whisk creating a roux.

3Once the flour has been cooked out about two minutes, gradually pour in the milk and beer.

4Keep stirring until thickened about five minutes.

5Remove saucepan from the heat and stir in cheese, salt, and pepper.

For the sliders

1Preheat an oven to 375°.

2Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

3In a small saucepan preheated to medium heat, melt the butter. Once the butter is melted stir in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder until well incorporated.

4Turn the heat to low until ready to garnish pretzel buns.

5In a large skillet preheated to medium high heat, place Curly's West Coast Style into the skillet. Stir the pulled pork until heated through about five minutes and remove skillet from heat.

6Next, place six bottom pretzel buns on the baking sheet. Divide the pulled pork between the six pretzel buns.

7Garnish with sesame seeds. Place the sliders into the oven for about 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the pretzel buns are toasted.

8Remove the sliders from the oven and serve immediately.
